Privacy Policy

VeloClear is a daily planning tool. Your notes are yours. We collect only what we need to run the product, we do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

Account information. When you sign up, we store your email address. This is used to identify your account and send transactional emails such as email verification and password reset links.

Your notes and planning data. Everything you write in VeloClear — daily notes, reflections, habits, sticky notes, deadlines, and settings — is stored in our database (Supabase, hosted on AWS). This data is tied to your account and is never read by us except to operate the service.

Login activity and geography. When you log in, we record the approximate country and city associated with your IP address using a third-party IP geolocation service (ipapi.co). We use this to understand where our users are located. We do not store your full IP address.

Feature usage. We track which parts of the app you use — for example, whether you opened the habits view or used focus mode — along with a timestamp. We do not track what you write, only which features you interact with. This helps us understand what is useful and what to improve.

Your data is used solely to provide and improve VeloClear. Specifically:

• To sync your notes and settings across devices
• To send transactional emails you request (verification, password reset)
• To understand which features are used so we can prioritise improvements
• To understand the geographic distribution of our users

Your data is stored on Supabase, a hosted Postgres database service. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Row-level security policies ensure that each user can only access their own data — your notes are not accessible to other users or to VeloClear staff under normal operations.

VeloClear is hosted on Vercel. Supabase infrastructure runs on AWS (Singapore region). By using VeloClear, you acknowledge that your data may be processed and stored in these regions.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from the Settings page, all your data — notes, habits, sticky notes, deadlines, and settings — is permanently deleted from our database. This action cannot be undone.

You can export all your notes at any time from the Settings page in JSON or Markdown format. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. If you need assistance accessing, correcting, or deleting your data, contact us at the email below.

VeloClear uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — database and authentication (privacy policy)
• Vercel — hosting and deployment (privacy policy)
• ipapi.co — IP geolocation for login geography (privacy policy)

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising tracking services.

VeloClear uses a single session cookie set by Supabase to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of VeloClear after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
